I studied design and interaction at UCSD.
I’ve always been interested in a lot of different subjects, so it was difficult to narrow
down what I wanted to focus on in college. But I eventually chose to pursue a degree in Cognitive Science
because of its interdisciplinary nature, and because I love learning about people, culture, interactions,
and how to develop creative solutions to difficult problems.
My design related interests are UX/UI design, HCI, human-robot interaction, and design fiction.
At the Healthcare Robotics Lab at UCSD, I'm part of a team
that is researching and designing robots to help older adults with dementia and their caregivers.
In my free time I like to consume a lot of media,
whether that be binging shows, watching movies, reading books and news articles, scrolling through
random Wikipedia pages, or listening to NPR in the car. I also enjoy climbing, writing, hanging out with my two cats, and doing archery.
